Vishal Sinha Promoted to Head

Bharti AXA Life Insurance has announced the promotion of Vishal Sinha to the position of Head – Corporate HR, Learning & Development (L&D), and Organisational Development (OD). In this expanded leadership role, Sinha is tasked with driving the company’s people-first culture and strengthening its organizational capability agenda. Bharti AXA Life Insurance has elevated Vishal Sinha to the position of Head – Corporate HR, Learning & Development (L&D), and Organisational Development (OD), effective immediately. Sinha, who previously served as Head – Corporate HR & Talent Acquisition, will now be responsible for overseeing the company’s people and organizational capability agenda. In a statement regarding his new role, Sinha emphasized his commitment to building a people-first culture and supporting the organization’s growth journey through continuous learning and value creation.

Sinha brings over 22 years of extensive experience to the role, with a career spanning human resources, talent acquisition, and organizational transformation. During his five-year tenure at Bharti AXA Life Insurance, he has held various leadership positions, including Head – Training, Partnership Distribution & Corporate HR, where he led L&D efforts across multiple business channels. His background also includes a role as Business Head – B2B Corporate Training at Max Skill First Limited, where he managed learning and capability-building initiatives for enterprise clients.

Beyond his tenure at Bharti AXA, Sinha held leadership roles at Aditya Birla Health Insurance and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance, focusing on partner training strategies and the business impact of learning programs. He is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business’s Future CHRO Program and holds an MBA in Human Resources from IMI Delhi. For the Corporate Training & L&D sector, Sinha’s promotion reflects a growing industry trend of aligning training and organizational development directly with corporate HR leadership to ensure that capability building remains central to business strategy.
