McIntyre’s current industry leadership includes serving as the President and CEO of Altiplano Metals, where he oversees copper-gold mining and processing in Chile, and as President of Malagash Metals and Mining Limited. His professional history includes over ten years at Scotiabank/ScotiaMocatta in senior roles involving precious and base metals marketing, metal loans, and physical distribution. He has also held positions at Behre Dolbear, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and the Royal Canadian Mint, providing him with a global perspective on capital flows and project valuations across North America, Australia, and Asia.

The appointment is particularly relevant for the Mining & Metals sector given McIntyre’s experience in major corporate actions, such as his commercial advisory role in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s $2.1 billion acquisition of the London Metal Exchange. He has also managed independent technical review reports for IPO listings on the Hong Kong and Singapore stock exchanges and served as an expert witness in precious metals-related litigation. As a Professional Geologist with degrees in both Geology and Business Administration, McIntyre is equipped to provide the specialized due diligence and valuation services required by international law firms and financial institutions.
