Teledyne Technologies Promotes Michelle Hildyard to General Manager of Raymarine and FLIR Marine

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated has announced the promotion of Michelle Hildyard to General Manager of its Teledyne Raymarine and Teledyne FLIR Marine brands. Based in Fareham, England, Hildyard will lead the company’s marine electronics and thermal camera portfolios, reporting to Gregoire Outters, President of Teledyne Marine Group. This leadership transition aims to strengthen product innovation and operational performance within the maritime technology sector, focusing on integrated solutions that enhance safety and situational awareness.

In her new capacity as General Manager, Michelle Hildyard will oversee the strategy, product development, and commercial execution for both the Raymarine marine electronics business and the FLIR Marine thermal camera portfolio. Her leadership is expected to focus on delivering integrated solutions that improve safety, situational awareness, and enjoyment for maritime users. Gregoire Outters, President of Teledyne Marine Group, noted that Hildyard’s ability to connect maritime solutions across various teams and brands will be instrumental in helping customers operate more efficiently and confidently on the water.

Hildyard transitions into this role with over two decades of experience within Teledyne Raymarine and Teledyne FLIR Marine, having previously served in a wide range of senior leadership positions. Most recently, she held the title of Vice President of Operations for both brands, where she was responsible for leading supply chain, engineering, and product management efforts. Her extensive background is supported by a Bachelor of Science from the University of Reading and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southampton Business School.

The promotion reflects Teledyne’s commitment to advancing its maritime technology offerings during a period when artificial intelligence and automation are rapidly transforming safety-critical industries.
