Teledyne Technologies appoints Michelle Hildyard as General Manager of Raymarine and FLIR Marine

Teledyne Technologies has announced the promotion of Michelle Hildyard to the role of general manager for its Raymarine and FLIR Marine brands. Hildyard will oversee the company's marine electronics and thermal camera portfolios, focusing on sectors including leisure marine, light commercial, and first responder services. This leadership change comes as the company seeks to strengthen its commitment to maritime innovation and integrated navigation solutions.

Michelle Hildyard brings more than 20 years of experience within the Raymarine and FLIR organizations to her new role as general manager. Most recently serving as the vice president of operations for both brands, she has managed critical functions including supply chain, engineering, product management, and operational execution. Her promotion is intended to reinforce Teledyne’s focus on customer-focused execution and technical innovation across its diverse maritime product lines.

In her capacity as general manager, Hildyard is tasked with overseeing the strategy, product development, and commercial execution for Raymarine’s marine electronics and FLIR’s marine thermal camera systems. Gregoire Outters, president of Teledyne Marine Group, highlighted Hildyard’s deep insight into the electronics and thermal markets as a key asset. Outters noted that her leadership style is expected to help the company deliver solutions that allow maritime operators to function more safely and efficiently.

Hildyard expressed her commitment to driving the future of the maritime industry by delivering reliable sensors and navigation solutions. She emphasized the importance of integrating technologies that work seamlessly together and collaborating closely with customers to enhance situational awareness on the water. Hildyard, who holds an MBA from the University of Southampton Business School and a BSc from the University of Reading, will lead a global team focused on both leisure and commercial maritime missions.
