Siemens Healthineers selects JLL as FM service provider

Siemens Healthineers has appointed JLL to provide integrated facilities management services for its 5.3 million-square-foot real estate portfolio across the United States and Canada. The agreement covers a diverse range of facilities, including office, research and development, laboratory, and biomanufacturing spaces across 32 states. This partnership highlights the growing demand for specialized life sciences facility management to support complex operational requirements and enhance workplace efficiency.

JLL announced that Siemens Healthineers, a global leader in healthcare equipment and services, has selected the firm to provide integrated facilities management (IFM) services for a significant 5.3 million-square-foot portfolio. This mixed-use real estate footprint spans 32 U.S. states and Canada, encompassing a variety of critical environments including office, research and development (R&D), laboratory, and biomanufacturing spaces. JLL’s specialized Life Sciences division will be responsible for executing a wide array of services, ranging from building engineering and HVAC maintenance to fire and life safety, janitorial, and landscaping.

The partnership utilizes an integrated model that incorporates strategic sourcing, finance, and business intelligence functions to govern service delivery. To enhance operational efficiency, the JLL team is deploying a suite of advanced engineering programs and technology solutions aimed at providing Siemens Healthineers with greater intelligence in their facility operations. This tech-forward approach is designed to optimize costs and improve resilience, allowing the healthcare provider to remain flexible amid shifting business and commercial conditions. Key leadership for the account includes JLL Managing Director Pam Paddock, Account Executive Michael Lee, and Executive Director of Solutions Development Joe Daufenbach.
