Amrize Opens Chicago Headquarters as Illinois Expands Building Materials Investment

Amrize, a major building materials supplier, has officially opened its new North American operational headquarters in downtown Chicago. The expansion involves an $18.6 million investment and is supported by state tax incentives aimed at bolstering Illinois' position as a hub for construction materials and infrastructure development. Amrize’s new headquarters in downtown Chicago will serve as the management and operational center for more than 1,000 sites across the United States and Canada. This $18.6 million investment project is expected to create 50 new full-time positions while retaining 62 existing jobs, supported by the state’s Economic Development for a Growing Economy (EDGE) tax incentive program.
