Regions Bank Names Jeff Sundheimer to Lead Government, Institutional and Nonprofit Banking

Regions Bank has appointed Jeff Sundheimer as the head of its government, institutional, and nonprofit banking division within the commercial banking group. Sundheimer brings nearly 25 years of financial services experience to the role, having previously held senior leadership positions at J.P. Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo. Regions Bank has appointed Jeff Sundheimer as the head of government, institutional, and nonprofit banking within the firm’s commercial banking group. Reporting to Nikki Stephenson, head of Regions Commercial Banking, Sundheimer will oversee the delivery of sector-specific insights and tailored financial solutions to municipalities, government entities, and educational institutions. Sundheimer brings approximately 25 years of financial services experience to the role, with a specialized focus on state and local government financing, nonprofit banking solutions, and treasury management. Before joining Regions, he served as a managing director at J.P. Morgan Chase, where he managed government client relationships across a 14-state territory. His career also includes a series of leadership positions at Wells Fargo. This background in commercial banking strategy and institutional finance is expected to enhance Regions' ability to support organizations that are central to community development and public service.

This leadership appointment builds upon Regions Bank’s existing infrastructure of specialized commercial banking services across diverse industry sectors.
