Kajeet Unveils SentinelOS Platform for Agent-Ready IoT Connectivity & Secure Device Operations

Kajeet has launched SentinelOS, a new operating layer designed to facilitate agent-ready IoT connectivity and secure device operations. The platform integrates the company’s Sentinel MCP with traditional technical access points to provide developers and AI agents with direct access to connectivity management tools. This development reflects a shift in the IoT sector toward automated, AI-driven operational systems that require robust governance and trusted data integration.

Kajeet, a specialist in intelligent IoT connectivity, introduced SentinelOS to serve as a bridge between its Sentinel platform and the technical teams or AI agents managing device fleets. Available via kajeet.dev, the operating layer is intended to streamline how developers and IT professionals interact with connectivity data. By pairing the Sentinel Management Control Platform (MCP) with standard access points, Kajeet aims to offer flexible integration options that cater to various levels of technical maturity within an organization.

To support the initial implementation phase, Kajeet is offering Trial SIM Kits to qualified teams, allowing them to validate network performance and device behavior in real-world environments before committing to full-scale deployments. While the platform opens up new avenues for interaction, Kajeet maintains strict security protocols; Sentinel data, API credentials, and SIM fulfillment remain governed by established authentication and qualification processes. This ensures that while the system is more accessible, it remains secure against unauthorized access.

According to Chris Francosky, Head of AI and Innovation at Kajeet, the move signals an evolution beyond traditional dashboard-based connectivity management.
